Merida, Mexico

The city of Merida is enveloped in colorful architecture and has one of the largest historic city centers in the Americas (Mexico City and Havana, Cuba being the two larger).

Mansion-and-light

As we wandered around the squares and streets of Merida, it was apparent that Trav and I were both falling in love with this vibrant and beautiful city.

H+T-walking

Merida is a fantastic city worth exploring if you are traveling to the Yucatan Peninsula. The food is fantastic, the people are friendly and the vibe is exciting and colorful.

We only spent 24 hours in this gorgeous city, but I would happily go back to explore more.
