Trav and I are kicking off the spring season with a good old fashioned US road trip. While temperatures in Philadelphia remain in a state of flux, we are heading south in search of warmer weather and new cities that we’ve never seen before.
Because we are driving and have a whole car with plenty of space, my natural tendency is to pack a lot. But all you really need on a road trip are comfy, casual clothes so I will be packing an arsenal of t-shirts (I love these from Old Navy) and worn in denim (I’ve been wearing this pair non stop).
As with any trip, the best tip for packing is to pick casual pieces that mix and match well with a few special pieces mixed in. The tank top from J.Crew (above) is simple but the scalloped detail makes it special enough for a nice evening out.
